The NECSL welcomes season FIVE of its Summer Showcase U23 competition to further strengthen the professional and collegiate pathways for elite level players in New England.
The NECSL, New England's largest and most inclusive competitive youth soccer league, announces the formation of its Summer Showcase U23 competition for elite level players. The competition will facilitate the professional and collegiate pathways for top talent during the summer period. Consisting of teams from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine games will be played through June and July. |
2026 Information
When registering for U23 Summer Showcase, need to first register with USSSA Soccer:
- Click on Club Management
- Click on Registration
- Scroll down to USSSA Soccer - Adult Team Registration
- Click register, then find your team(s), check them off, then scroll back up and click register selected teams
- Once you complete that process, then go and register your team https://system.gotsport.com/event_regs/2d0ea061d9
Team Fees
$300 per team Fee
Referees + Assigning Fees = $220 + $21 = $121.50 per team per game
U23 Summer Showcase Roster Information
Register your teams to USSSA (via Gotsport) and pay the $100 USSSA Sanctioning Fee (an additional $6 per player over 25 players)
Season Dates
Opening Weekend: June 6-7 (Women) or June 13-14 (Men)
Closing Weekend: July 25-26 (Women) or August 1-2 (Men)
Roster Rules - A player can not turn 24 years old in 2026 and participate in the league.
- Teams can have U17 players on their roster
- If a player on the roster has not yet turned 18 then all 18+ players on the roster and coaches will all need to complete SafeSport
- If there are U17 players on the roster, the dashboard is where U18+ and coaches will see where they have to complete Safesport. If U17 players on the roster, coaches will also need to complete a background check (also found in their dashboard).
- If they previously completed Safesport they can click on check records or upload Safesport certificate

Home & Away Team Rosters
- A Match Card for that specific game (Please input uniform #'s into Gotsport)
1 Standard Copy (coaches and referee sign this copy at the end of the game)
2 Photo Copies (1 for the referee to check-in players / 1 for the opponent) - How to set a Match Day Roster & Add Club Pass Players
- How to print a Match Card
- Ensure that the referee completes the match card with the following information: goals (time and uniform #), final score, and any red or yellow cards listed next to the player's names (including the reason/code why the card was given.)
- Both coaches need to sign the match card, and the league recommends that the away team takes a picture of the Match Card
- The home team is responsible for uploading match card, inputting score, yellow/red cards into Gotsport.
- Match # and Pin # found on Match Card
- QR Code to go directly to that page in Gotsport also located on the Match Card
- Scoring Input Page if viewing from a desktop
- This must be completed in Gotsport within 72 hours of the final whistle.
