REGISTRATION & BRACKETS TIMELINE
- June 9, 2026: Gotsport Team Registration Open
- June 9, 2026: Initial Fall Brackets Shared
- All teams must complete the Bracket Process
- Initial U8-U15 Brackets: Boys | Girls
- Please review the Instruction Sheet before making any edits to the Brackets
- June 9, 2026: Request for Information Shared with all Clubs | Due Date is June 24, 2026
- June 24, 2026: Zoom Meeting at 11:00 AM with Club Directors
- June 24, 2026: Request for Information Due
- July 10, 2026: All teams participating in the Fall must be registered in Gotsport
- July 10, 2026: Final Day to make edits to U8-U15 Initial Fall Brackets
- July 15, 2026: Updated U8-U15 Brackets shared with teams. Brackets now locked, only changes can be made via Bracket Change Form
- Updated U8-U15 Brackets: Boys | Girls
- July 20, 2026: Final Day to complete Bracket Change Form | Brackets and Registrations are 100% complete, no changes after this date.
- July 31, 2026: Schedules Released | Home Teams start entering time/venue into Gotsport
- July 31, 2026: Team Fees shared with all clubs and due September 4, 2026
- August 4, 2026: Trapped 8th Grade Form shared with all clubs
- August 11, 2026: Referee Fees shared with all Clubs | Payment #1 Due August 28, 2026; Payment #2 Due October 2, 2026
- August 18, 2026: Schedules locked in Gotsport
- August 25, 2026: Zoom Meeting at 11:00 AM with Club Directors
- August 25, 2026: Final Day to complete Trapped 8th Grader
- September 4, 2026: Team Fees Due
- September 12-13, 2026: Opening Weekend
Fall 2026 Updates
- Trapped 8th Graders
- U14 teams will be allowed to have two trapped 8th graders (U15 players) on their game day roster in Fall 2026 as long as those players meet the following requirements
- Must be participating with that same club with a U15 NECSL team in Spring 2027
- The flight level (for example, Flight 3) for the U14 team must be similar to the anticipated flight level for their U15 team in the Spring NECSL season
- If a team needs to have 3 or more trapped 8th graders on their match day roster, that U14 team will need to compete in the U15 age group flight for Fall 2026
- For Spring 2027, these players will return to their U15 NECSL Team
- U14 teams will be allowed to have two trapped 8th graders (U15 players) on their game day roster in Fall 2026 as long as those players meet the following requirements
- Modified Player Option
- As a reminder, the Modified Player option will be removed for the Fall 2026 season. As you are preparing your rosters for 2026-2027, please ensure all teams are formed using Seasonal Year registration (August 1 - July 31) and all players must play in their appropriate age group.
- Coaching Education Mandate
- As a reminder, all coaches in the NECSL (head and assistant) must have a minimum US Soccer Grassroots in-person license or equivalent with 4 hours or more in duration
- All Coaching Education licenses and registration are available through the US Soccer Learning Center or visit your State Association Coaching Education Resource page.
FALL 2026 SEASON DATES
- The goal in the fall is to have all U9-U15 teams play 8 games, but in some cases it might only be 7 games.
- 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8
- U8 Jamboree Dates = 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25
TEAM FEES (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027)
- Club Size (1-150 teams) = $325.00 per team (per season)
- Club Size (151+ teams) = $305.00 per team (per season)
- Team Fees are the same price as the 2025-2026 Season
- Additional Fee for U8-U10 Jamboree/Festival teams = $140.00 per team (per season)
- All teams must pay the Gotsport Registration Fee = $10.00
REFEREE & ASSIGNING FEES (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027)
- The same referee fees as the 2025-2026 season
- The breakdown below is based on a 8-game schedule
- If games are not covered by referees, clubs will receive credit/refund
- No referees at U8 Jamborees
